Yesterday I was lucky enough to capture the opening event of Origin climbing and fitness. The new wall is a centre created from the love of climbing of three ambitious people. 

The opening event saw a competition set by professional climbers such as Alex Johnson, Ben Rueck and Andy Reather. I admire the athletes dedication to the constant training and to a lifestyle often defined as "dirtbag". Climbers often survive with minimal financial resources and no stable income in order to follow their passion for adventure. I equally admire the friends that opened the climbing gym. Perseverance and bravery was required to overcome all the burocratic hurdles and commit to the investment of money, time and effort, not always in that order. 

I wish Origin all the best for a successful mission in bringing people together for climbing, fitness and community.
