5 recipes to make your skin softer and healthier

Your skin should be exfoliated and moisturized to look great and shiny. What best way to do this then prepare some natural, vegan products right in your kitchen, with some good friends?!
Home made citrus scrub
An ideal recipe after the swimming pool or the gym
1 1/2 cups of sugar
4 tablespoons of organic coconut oil
zest of 1 lemon
5 springs of chopped rosemary
Coconut oil is one of the best skin car product that you can use. Antimicrobial, moisture retainer, rich in Vitamin E, avoids and cures cracks in the skin. It is applied to relieve skin conditions; please consider using Organic Coconut oil for its lesser environmental impact.
Lemon has disinfecting and cleansing properties, making this an ideal scrub after swimming in a communal pool or going to the gym.
Cookies and Cream scrub
Ever wondered what you can do with your brewed coffee grounds? A scrub!
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of mild roasted coffee grounds
1 cup of organic coconut oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Millions of tons of coffee grounds a year are wasted. Some are reused as commercial fertilizers, but most end up in a landfill. With this recipe you can recycle some grounds and make good use of all the antioxidants left in them (grounds from plungers have the most amounts of antioxidants, mocas’ grounds the least). Relax, smell the Cookies and Cream; this is perfect for a moment in which you crave something sweet. Treat yourself to the scrub!

Almond food scrub

1 1/2 cup ground almonds
3/4 cup organic coconut oil
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey
10 springs of fresh rosemary
Almonds are reach in oils and will gently exfoliate and nurture your feet; the coconut oil further moisturizes and the citrus will cleanse your feet. Honey is packed with antioxidants and other nutrients; it is said to increase skin healing and regeneration.
