Vegas is never short of activities, entertainment and fun things to do. Here are a few of my favorite things to do in the summer when the heat starts to kick in:
Head to The ‘Beach’
Mandalay bay pool is a little oasis in the middle of the desert. With a lazy river and beach-like waves you will get a taste of sea side in Las Vegas.
Water Parks
Cowabunga bay is great water park with awesome slides and pools for the whole family, with the added benefit that alcohol is served for adults!
Soak and watch a Film
It is a tradition now, Dive in Movies at the Cosmopolitan pool are a great way to spend your Monday nights. Watch cult films with a cocktail in the heart of the Strip at one of the strips most exclusive poolside locations.
Yoga on The Lawn
Join one of Trufusion's yoga on the lawn events in Downtown Summerlin. Even when it feels a bit too hot, the sense of community and the engaging classes keep you focused. Part of the proceeds go to a different charity every month.
Plan a Photoshoot
This is a perfect time for a cool (indoor) photoshoot in a private studio. Beat the autumn rush and book a Boudoir Photoshoot with Martina Zando Photography. Head to The Mountains
Take a day trip up to Lee canyon on Mount Charleston. The altitude and cool air up there let you forget the 100+ degrees in the valley. Hike the Bristlecone Trail or Plan a game of disc golf with friends on the slopes of the Lee Canyon Ski Resort.
Watch a Show
There is a lot of choice when it comes to shows on the Las Vegas Strip, however you can't go wrong with Mystere, the longest running Cirque Show in Las Vegas. The costumes are amazing and the acrobats shouldn't be missed.
Golf From the Bar
No need for golf carts or and walking. You can stay under the mist machines and sip your favorite beverage while hitting holes at the 4 story high Top Golf at the MGM grand. Golf has never been so easy!
Outdoor Theatre
Enjoy live theatre performances of The Super Summer Theatre at Spring Mountain Ranch. Out in The Red Rock Conservation Area the temperature is always a few degrees cooler than in town and the whole family can enjoy a picnic on the grass and see the cast perform live.
Sip cocktails at Parasol Down Bar
The lake at the Wynn is a little oasis of beauty. I love their outside patio and their cocktails even more. Sit down and enjoy before a nice dinner or before heading to a night time pool party.
